About Me

I’m Emma, and I trekked the Himalayas to raise money for CoppaFeel!

In October 2019, I trekked 10 hours a day for four consecutive days in the Indian Himalayas with 100 amazing people on the CoppaFeel fabulous challenge trek. I still can’t believe they chose me to take part!

Details of the trip are here: Trip Notes

Last year I lost 3st by cutting sugar out of my diet and reducing my carb intake. You can read all about that here: Emma Goes Sugar Free

I’d already decided that whilst last year was about losing weight, this year would be about getting fitter. And then the CoppaFeel trek came along.

It was a huge physical challenge as well as a personal challenge for me. I don’t think I’ve slept in a tent since guide camp 27 years ago! And going away with 100 strangers is not something I thought I’d ever do. It was an amazing but very challenging experience but was well worth every penny I raised for an amazing breast cancer charity CoppaFeel!

Now that the trek is complete, I will be adding blog posts regularly over the next few weeks in an attempt to document my adventure and show everyone what we went through and what we achieved.

If you would like to sponsor me you can donate on my everyday hero page:
